From 2021 – 2023, I designed posters, flyers, and exhibition labels in line with Smithdown Social Arts Hub’s branding and templates (created by their lead designer). I also designed and created greetings cards and prints for rotating monthly exhibitions which included liaising with printers. In addition I was responsible for content creation and planning social media posts to suit Smithdown Social Arts Hub’s guidelines for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and I assisted with simple WordPress website updates.
In 2021, I was one of the designers who worked on ‘The Talk’ Learning Resource information cards, for Marjorie H. Morgan and Heart of Glass St. Helens Ltd.
My freelance work also includes being an integral part of The Health and Safety Executive’s major conversion of all of their priced publications to make them freely available online in 2010. Most of their HSG and Legal titles have now been converted to web-friendly PDF files with a high proportion of accessible content. I produced each document using specifically designed templates, provided by HSE, so they were easily accessible. It was part of the brief to follow a strict methodology and to work within HSE’s existing branding guidelines. An example of a priced publication that I have converted is: HSG253.

I have been responsible for the design of the publicity and assissted with the marketing for various projects and companies, creating leaflets, posters and managing social media. I provide print-ready PDF files and liaise directly with printing companies. Deadlines for projects are often tight, so I meet with clients to ensure the process – from the decision to realising unique designs – is fast and seamless.
