I really enjoyed performing at ‘Across The Threshold’ recently [with Dawn Hignett & Luke Moore accompanying me]. There are several reviews of our performance below and I am pleased to say that recording is now in progress, with plans to release some new music on 28.08.18 – 18 weeks today!

LIVE MUSIC REVIEWS:

An act who “stood out” at ‘Across the Threshold’

“I was already aware that Jazamin is a multi-talented artist, and have met her at the photo pit a couple of times, but I’d never heard her music before. Tonight she performed as a 3 piece with the wonderful Luke Moore on Cello … and also Dawn on harmonies and Glockenspiel. A real treat!”

GETINTOTHIS:

One of “ten best acts of the weekend” at ‘Across the Threshold’

“Bridging the genre gap, Jazamin Sinclair merges singer songwriter sensibilities with balladic soul.”

“A sunny folk-punk blended set in Unit 51 seemed a perfect soundtrack to the weather on Saturday. Her acoustic guitar playing was powerful and urgent, offset beautifully by her accompanists on cello and xylophone. There were country twangs of Lindi Ortega at times. A cracking little gem in a crowded line up. There’s an EP out soon and we’re keen to get our hands on it.”

PLANET SLOP:

“One thing Threshold always nails is the Saturday afternoon … A double header of NaMo and Jazamin Sinclair really epitomised that feeling. Jazamin, who brought along Dawn from Dawn and the Embers, and were more folky than the soulful NaMo, but it was another perfect Saturday afternoon at Threshold.”

My band Moxie have made Glastonbury Festival’s longlist in the Emerging Talent Competition 2015.

120 acts have been chosen from the many thousands of acts who entered by a judging panel made up of 40 of the UK’s finest online music writers. These writers include Clash Magazine who selected Moxie saying we have: ‘Skillfully executed, folk-derived songwriting’.

Listen to Glastonbury Festival’s Longlist playlist on Soundcloud here which includes our song Ten Years.

You can also see us performing Let’s Dance & Cotton Wool at Threshold Festival last year & find our more about us here!
